The more people I speak with, the more I think he should run...run away that is...IL is a Democratic state and Kirk has as much of a change to win as Sarah Palin has...NONE
He's my rep and he won't get my vote - not for senator, governor or jan.i.tor.
Ditto.
I'm in the 10th District too and will work, non-stop, to
prevent any election victory for Kirk. He is a Limbaugh Lemming.
Well, he's leading Burris.
Benito Mussolini would be leading Burris.
Remember Obama was 32 points down several times.
Can we just have five minutes before they start polling for the election 2 years away .. my god this country is a mess.
YOU PAY FOR AN EARLY POLL AND YOU ALWAYS GET THE RESULTS YOU WANT.
YOUR PAYING YOU GET TO DIRECT WHERE THE POLLING IS DONE.
Don't believe all the CRAP-O-LA .
.
Agreed. There's another story here at HuffP0 about a possible candidate's poll rating in a poll she commissioned herself!
I nearly always vote Democratic in state and national races (not always, but my inclination is to the left...) -- and I have always liked Mark Kirk. He seems reasonable, moderate and smart. Well worth a look as a senator. (He's not my rep -- I live in Hastert's old district..
He's not reasonable. He's a hawk pretending to be a moderate. He's a consponsor of Michelle "Batstuff" Bachman's bizarre resolution to prevent the president from adopting a one world government currency (you know, because that was totally going to happen.. along with frankenstein and godzilla attacks). He's a solid "no" vote from the party of "no". I hope his district is rid of him in 2010, whether it be through a losing senate race or a losing reelection bid.
We are trying.
We almost got him last November.
Sadly, we failed but we did get to see the man SWEAT the last few weeks
of his campaign.
NEXT TIME, FOR SURE!
You have recently called President Obama an "egomanic, a liar, a hypocrite, empty-headed
and an empty suit."
Yet you consider Republican Mark Kirk to be "reasonable, moderate and smart."
Duh! Huh?
10th District VOTER
A lot of money was spent to defeat Kirk in the last cycle without success. But also, Alexi is great on the stump and should be able to expect his basketball buddy, who is also the POTUS, to drive turnout if that becomes necessary.
