New Transformers 2 Trailer: Megan Fox In Daisy Dukes And Shia At Princeton (VIDEO)

Paramount has released a new trailer for this summer's Transformers 2 movie.

An earlier trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, released in February, was a bit bleaker, while the new one seen below makes the most of leading lady Mikaela (Megan Fox) in a pair of cut-off jean shorts, has a dancing robot Bumblebeeand with some Pointer Sisters music and sees Sam (Shia LaBeouf) moving into Princeton as the action starts.

Who are these people that go see these preposterous movies (endless numbers of them) and actually take them seriously? I can understand a 12 year old digging this stuff but not 20,30,40somethings. They don't even give us great babes anymore. How about some woman in these flicks like old days: Raquel Welch, Pam Grier, etc. All these modern actresses just are really cute versions of high school pixies you can find all over America.

Pam Grier and Racquel Welch were terrible actors. They were put on the screen as eye candy just as Megan Fox. Although she was supposed to act like a teenager and did a pretty good job. So many 30 and 40 somethings watch this movie because we grew up with the original show.

While we're on this subject of sexism, who are the consumers of women's magazines (you know the ones where the cover highlights "do this to cause that in his pants", etc., etc.). Every single one of those magazines, IMO, cheapen women by focusing so much on what women should do to please men. From advice columns, advertisement, to the review of makeup, clothes and even horoscopes that are focused like a laser beam on the day-to-day insecurities of young and impressionable women.
Yes, guys love beautiful bare nekkid ladies - no doubt there, we're all guilty as charged! However, the ladies can't claim immunity from sexism either so long as they continue to consume the over hyped commercialism of sexuality in the shimmering pages of Cosmo and Marie Claire!
