...While also saying that ISAF's air raid strategy plays into the Taliban's hands because the number of innocents killed along with the intended target(s) inevitibly enrages and radicalizes the population.

So ask yourself why a self-declared Taliban might wish to encourage more air attacks inside Pakistan, where it is trying to polarize the Pashtuns in rebellion against the US-supported government.

A blatantly pro war piece by the New York Times is no surprise.
That huf po would pluck out one statement in favor of drone attacks (made by an anonymous Taliban fighter) and turn it into a headline is just sad. But as good press for the Obama Afghanistan escalation is so hard to come by, maybe this one was deemed as good enough.
Drone attacks are a disaster.

Here is a much more balanced view of drone attacks and their devastating consequences.

1. Your link doesn't lead to anything

2. Drone Attacks work, despite their consequences

3. I have a feeling you would say 'OMG so pro war imperialist tripe" no matter what the headline was as long as it said something working in Afghanistan

1. You're right.

2. You're wrong

3. I have no feelings on what you might say about anything. But the idea that you actually believe drone murder is a good thing leads me to believe you don't care much for other human beings.

Here is a good link.
