I Like ItI Don’t Like It

One would think the anchors of "Fox & Friends" would ask their producers how to pronounce the names of famous people and places before going on air. Then again, one should be smart enough not to have reasonable expectations when it comes to this particular morning show.

Come on...it is Fox News we're talking about; fairly unbalanced. We don't need no stinkin journalism degrees, we don't need no stinking facts...we don't need to know how to pronounce theens....Just have nice hair, good suit, short skirt, nice legs, beeg teets if not so good looking and good looks if no beeg teets.

The only two things that these "journalists" are required to do are grin and laugh at each others' lame jokes. Totally vapid.

Fox News cater to a segment of the population that take pride in mispronouncing "foreign" words, tapping into that xenophobic vein still current throughout American society. My perception is that segment of the population is shrinking

I watched the FNC morning show today and it was as if I were in an alternate universe. Oh and by the way, if you happen to hear what they're saying it's hysterical in it's intent, but all things scary and that go boo are because of Democrats and liberal minded (educated) people whom look down their noes at the ignorant Liberty, Oral Roberts and 700 Club College Co-Eds reading or mouthing the stories put in front of them. What a joke!

Any professionals worth their salt could at least make some effort to learn to pronounce things correctly, especially if it's of words that they're unfamiliar with to begin. I don't recall watching any other news channel and come across such problem at this alarming rate. And I've live in 3 different continents.

the reason for this many mistakes is ONLY ONE of two causes.

1) The people reading the news are that poor in job performance.

2) They do it intensionally, to make a connection with the audience.

Is there another option that I have not considered?

Ah, former miss America gretchen carlson can't pronounce words... what a surprise. I'd like to see her interviews when she was up for that prestigious title...

This is all part of their comedy routine. Too many people dont realize that Fox is actually a comedy network

They are absolutely the dumbest crew on TV. And this just proves it.

Who needs correct pronounciation when cropping works?

A journalist test or interview at Fox is not about how fluent one is but rather, can you tell a lie with a straight face? Yes to the later and you get the job
