Stephanie Seymour In Ugly Divorce

New York Post:

SUPERMODEL Stephanie Seymour is getting divorced from her polo-playing husband Peter Brant after 16 years of marriage and three children -- but they are still living under the same roof in the marital mansion in Greenwich, Conn.

"It's OK. I'm sleeping in the maid's quarters," Seymour told a friend. "I'm doing the best I can to keep things amicable. I want to be the bigger person. But it's tough. He's playing very dirty with me."

I never knew why she took up with this guy. She had enough money. Guess she fell in love. As for breaking up his marriage, it's a well known fact Brandt's wife left him for another woman. He must have felt as if he hit the lottery when Ms. Seymour showed interest. It's also a well know fact, Ms. Seymour is a lovely person and dedicated Mother. He will never get custody of the children, because he has no interest in being a full time parent. Too busy with polo, art and what ever else the super rich do. Mr. Brandt should cease being a bully and figure out what he did to screw up his marriage with one the Great American Beauties.

Stephanie is one gorgeous woman. I never understood why she married this guy - I don't think she needed the money. Maybe it was to break into society - I always thought it was rather funny that she went from being Axl Rose's girlfriend (and didn't he physically abuse her)? to suddenly becoming a part of NY society attending all those society events once she married this guy.
