Happy Mother's Day Nia! She wrote a prior article, I think here at huffpo, more about the experience. She and her husband were given the name of an attorney, who could get them a baby. She said they felt too uncomfortable being able to jump in front of the line like that because she was a celebrity.
So they decided to look into adopting an older child. They first went to a government agency and got the feeling that the agency was more interested in getting rid of a problematic group of children, rather than what would be a best fit.

There are times when a child or children are adopted out from loving parents. I know someone whose child was wrongly taken away. The parents did all they were supposed to do (not alcoholics or drug addicts) and the judge gave the child to the foster parent. So not All children shuold be going to be adopted out...
It seems unlikely that fit parents would just lose their children, I suspect there is more to the story than perhaps even you know. Biology does not necessarily make for good parents.
