Todd Palin To Fill In For Sarah At DC Dinner

JUNEAU, Alaska — Flooding in her home state has forced Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to cancel an appearance at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Palin told reporters Thursday that she would skip her planned East Coast trip so she could visit parts of Alaska that have been struggling with the most serious flooding in decades.

In addition to attending the dinner Saturday _ a mix of Washington elite, White House press corps and Hollywood celebrities _ the former Republican vice presidential candidate was scheduled to promote Alaska seafood at an appearance in New York.

The governor's husband, Todd Palin, planned to take her place at both the dinner and New York event.

Who needs the Lt. Governor for a couple of events, when during the campaign Palin did not even delegate any responsibility to Lt. Governor Parnell to serve the citizens of Alaska? Someone has control issues. Not a pretty picture, even with lipstick. Where is simple protocol in the governor's forget-me-nots-that-I- keep-forgetting? Someone has trust issues. What is she hiding? Maybe nothing, but there are so many questions without many answers. Oh, the drama. Of course, Todd will be the most appropriate replacement in lieu of Governor Palin. Of course he will be. Oh you betcha!

And it is not like Parnell isn't capable, when the President of Iceland visited Alaska, Palin had just a quick photo op with him and then left. It was Sean Parnell that discussed energy issues with this foreign head of state, not Alaska's "energy expert" Palin.

Wow, who knew that Sarah's petty high-school vindictive mentality could reach new heights. Sarah sends her husband, Mrs. Todd Palin in her place to the WH Correspondents dinner (confirmed as a guest of Fox News?) and some Alaska seafood marketing dinner in NY to promote AK's fishing, instead of an ELECTED official representing the state in her place.

Let's see for the WH Correspondents Dinner, she could have sent the Lt. Gov. (Sean Parnell must be overcome with confidence); For The Seafood Maketing dinner in NY last night, she could have sent.... Lt. Gov or someone from Fish & Game, or any fishing guide or someone from DOJ, DOT, DOI, but she sent.... Mrs. Todd Palin instead.... the bonafide card carrying secessionists up until 2002 approx the time Sarah ran for Gov of AK, of which Sarah gave welcome speech to AIP convention in 2008.

I guess since the boss/leader of the GO-NOPEer party Rush Limbaugh has dubbed Sarah as his "fix for the party", Mr. & Mrs. Greta Vansusteran of Fox News has now "officially" taken her under their flappy wings, to try to "polish" her up. How warm, fuzzy and touching.
