Wanda Sykes Kills At White House Correspondents' Dinner (VIDEO)

Wanda Sykes, the comedian featured at tonight's White House Correspondents' Dinner, took shots at Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and former VP candidate Sarah Palin. She speculated that Limbaugh was actually the 20th hijacker on 9/11, derided Hannity for not living up to his pledge to be waterboarded for the troops, and made a fabulous off-color joke about Sarah Palin pulling out at the last minute.

Sykes became the first African-American woman and the first openly gay person to ever perform jokes at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. In 1993, HuffPost's own Elayne Boosler became the first woman to do so, and in 2005 Cedric the Entertainer became the first African-American to do so.

Darned! Wanda isn't coming to my community anytime soon. I don'y want to have to go all the way to B.C. to catch her show. The last comedy concert I went to was The Axis of Evil, and Wanda is just as good.

We now have a black Rosie O’Donald, these comments and their weak coating as jokes are another form of hate. As the other attempted comedy person said the tea party was about racism, she is the only one talking racism. That should tell you everything you need to know about her and her friends. I believe in something new call "sponsor boarding" that is where all the sponsors for this sick humor, and single sided shows are boycotted completely­, of course as I do you need to let the sponsors know you find their support for this type of sick humor “is obscene“an­d you intend to never again by any product that has their name or parent company name on it. I find that this, get to the Rosie and Wanda’s and what’s his name faster. They have the right to say what they think is funny, and I have the right not to support the people who pay them. I knew there was a reason I don’t watch Saturday Night any longer. I know people have a problem with me because I don’t blindly follow traitors, and liars. I am a Patriot, and a citizen of the USA, not of Islam, or Mexico, or Africa. Just the USA!

I never heard of Wanda Sykes until now, so I guess it was good for Wanda Sykes. I believe as the late, great, George Carlin did, that in comedy, no words should be taboo. I'm sure Wanda doesn't actually want anyone's kidneys to fail. Evil is in the intent, not the words.

In alignment with the rest of Rush's recent critics, Wanda Sykes has issued an apology and stated that her words were taken out of context. "It will never happen again," explained Ms. Sykes, continuing­, "Rush knows I love him, and that I consider him a patriot, the heart of conservati­ve movement, and the keeper of the flame ignited by Ronald Reagan. I regret if he took any offense."

THAT is what you lilly-live­red neocons would like, wouldn't ya? Remember the following from Don Rickles - what - 40 years ago? "I hope your dog dies?" It was cutting edge, insult humor! Ms. Sykes pulled out all stops against the First Family, Joe Biden, etc., and as long as she kept it to the Democrats, that was FINE! But word-one against Michelin Boy, and WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Stop it right there, you upstart!

Grow up, and recognize ACTUAL entertaine­rs when you see them! Bravo, Wanda!

It always amazes me how when the conservati­ve-speak comes back to bite them in the arse, how indignant they get. They can call my President a fascist, a socialist, a communist, carry signs which should be treasonist (of course, that's free speech), say the most heinous, outrageous lies on Hannity or O'Reilly & that's OK.
