Victoria Gotti Foreclosure

JP Morgan is foreclosing on the Long Island mansion owned by Mafia daughter Victoria Gotti.

The 46-year-old reality star owes a whopping $650,000 on the property, according to the New York Post. The daughter of John "Dapper Don" Gotti hasn't made a mortgage payment since September 2006.

The latest court ruling reversed a decision in 2007, when the court determined it was too early to move forward with foreclosure proceedings against the former star of Growing Up Gotti.

The New York Post quoted her mother saying, "She's not in the mood to talk to anybody." In reference to her ex-husband, Carmine Agnello, whom Gotti divorced in 2003, her mom said, "The creep that he is, he took out a mortgage behind her back. She can't afford to pay."

According to the blog The Real Estalker, Gotti and Agnello bought the home for just $175,000 in 1989.

Gotti tried selling it for $4.8 million, then lowered it to $3.2 million in January.

I suspect she can contest this. It was done behind her back, ergo, she wasn't aware of it, a part of it, and unless she signed off on the documents in person, its fraud. What she needs to do is to go after him for fraud, making the document null and void. The morgage company knows this too. its a matter of produce the document I signed. If they can't provide anything she signed, they are screwed and she not only can keep the house, but can sue him and the mortage company. She needs a good lawyer. This is preventable Vicky, go for it girl. I don't care what her daddy did, she wasn't him. Vic is a nice person and does not deserve this. This is payback, not legal at all, rather mafia payback. Its called, she dared to go against their wishes and now they think they can ruin her. Its a classic tactic they pull for those who leave mafia marriages. This was revenge. Been there, done that.

Aren't there several forms of non-traditional types of financing available?

The house appears to be fully mold infested. Or perhaps the boys just like to wipe their a$$' on the ceilings of every room?

Let her stay. They can do a sequel to Grey Gardens as the house falls around them.

When her reality show was on. The house desperately needed repairs. Remember?
Then she asked that middle aged friend to fix it up, he made it worse.
Come on, Victoria Gotti, and what appears to be three loosers for sons, sell the house, live in an apt. and most of all Grow Up to you and your three pretty boys.

Those three Gotti boys need to get off their butt and get a job and help their mother pay a bill! They look like they don't have a clue about hard work! Ridiculous!

I didn't know that a jointly owned property could have a mortgage taken out on it by just one of the owners.

Depends upon how the mortgage contract was written, if it stated party A AND party B, then both signatures would be required. If it stated party A OR party B, then it would be acceptable. That is the reason most married couples have mortgages that state AND and not OR.

Yeah, but if she didn't sign off on it, its not hers to worry about. I smell fraud a mile away. I also smell mafia intervention here. None of you knows how ths works. This isn't simply a case of divorced couples being mad. This goes much deeper. If her dad was alive, this wouldn't have occurred. Trust me, this is payback. They play dirty and mean, and if they know you leave, have something on any of them, you are either dead, or they ruin you financially as well as your reputation, be it justified or not. Her ex is sending her a very serious message, that he can ruin her and her family at any time or place. They have tentacles that go far, including banks, political, the church, all of it. She knows what I am talking about.

Mortgage companies weren't notorious for caring what the law said. The loan just got sold to Wall Street and bundled with hundreds of other fraudulent loans.

The last picture reminded me of the Norman Bates house above the motel. I feel so terrible about the fact that I have absolutely no sympathy for this family of endangered feces.

Gee I wonder how much sympathy her father's victims got before he had them snuffed out or broke their legs etc. etc. These photos look almost like mug shots. She is revolting at best and so isn't her little tribe of mini gangsters. Daddy must have left her a crypt or two of blood money somewhere. Good riddance to this rubbish.

Good comment regarding her father's victims. I refused to watch her show b/c I felt that it was insensitive and insulting to her father's victims & their families. I believe she claims that she acquired her own wealth w/o any help from her father. Some how I find it hard to believe that "Pappa Gotti" did not contribute to her wealth. If I am wrong about the source of her money, then I hope things work out for her -- but if I am right, her current predicament is poetic justice.

Why do you assume she is also guilty? You are assuming she and her mom knew of all of her dad's misdeeds. Many times families of mob members dont know anything about what is going on. Its intentional to protect them. They may have an inkling to what is or isn't happening, but most of the time, its kept away from them. This way, legally they cannot be associated with any crimes committed, cannot lose funds, are protected. Its legal. Vic has stated she didn't know as a child what her dad was up to, and her dad would brush off her questions. Only as she grew older, did she realize what her father had done. But that wasn't her crime, it was his. Guilt by association does not apply here. She never once broke the law, her record is clean. I feel sorry for her. Unless you walked in her shoes, you have no room to talk. .
