What is the Christian virtue in telling a lie? Where is the Christian virtue in getting a boob job so you can then put them on display? Where is the Christian virtue in putting them on display? pre boob job or post boob job? How does this behavior align with one's "christian-ness"?

I fail to see the political connection here. I believe one would find democrats that may also have enhanced breast jobs. Like the Republicans preached during the Clinton Trial, it was the fact he lied and not the affair. As I understand the Miss California, it was also the fact that she failed to mention the modeling (leaving out facts is the same as lying), then said it was the only one just before others came out and failure to abide by her contract. Of course, the fact that both are Beauty Pageant contestants may also help. Alaska has a 6 to 1 ratio of Men to Women. I am sure they would love the ticket.

I do believe that even a well rounded Republican business man would also fire someone for this type of issue in the work place. Palin always makes things political and it is amusing that she blames Katie for her stupid responses to the questions. She and Miss California are very similar. They are never responsible for the issues they find themselves in as it is that Liberal media again out to silence the word of truth, moral values, Apple Pie and the flag.

As an Independent, I am getting pretty tired of the same ole BS.

I'm wondering why Palin always blames "liberals" for criticism. She is so full of herself she doesn't realize that a lot of the well deserved criticism comes from all walks of life and all political camps in Alaska, all over the country and all over the world. Maybe her God doesn't allow her to see the truth. The only reason she stays in the news is because she is like a carnival side show; good for laughs, shock and awe.

I think she blames the press because it is an easy thing to talk about, it takes no special skills or expertise, it it pretty obvious regarding the liberal press. Plus it earns her lots of brownie points with the base who thinks she is showing real leadership. Personally, I find it to be a little bit of a fraudulent power play. I don't like it, I find it disingenuous even if it is true that the press is liberal and despicable. My response to Palin, "no kidding, now tell me something I don't know!"

What people don't realize is that Katie Couric actually had a gun in her pocket and nuzzled it over to Palin's hip right before the airing of the interview, when she asked Sarah what newspapers and magazines she read. She told Palin, if she sounded intelligent, she would shoot her after the cameras stopped rolling. So Palin complied.


Before one of the other interviews, Katie actually had a gun to Palin's head before they started shooting (forgive the pun) and was threatened again. Katie told her if she sounded intelligent she would shoot her after the interview. None of this was Palin's fault.

Don't you see, she was threatened at gunpoint, within an inch of her life, before each interview. What else could she do but lie about how stupid she was.

I admire the young woman for saying that marriage is between a man and woman. I think that was the right thing to say. For all of time marriage has been between a man and woman. If people have no fear of God or love for him then it is impossible to explain to them. That being said, for a change I would like to see Palin make an intelligent statement without a press release. It would be nice since so many seem to think she is the leader. What kind of a leader can't say anything without it being in the form of a written statement? I have serious doubts about Palin. Someone is running the show and it isn't her. Don't blame me for that perception or the liberal press, it is Palin's fault and she needs to fix that if it isn't true!

Why are either of them news worthy?

What are either of them doing to stop foreclosures, stop predatory lending practices, stop job loss, end poverty, give our soldiers adequate equipment and access to proper medical treatment, or reform health care?

Aren't these issues more important/news worthy than anything these two have to say on self serving social issues which the majority of the public don't have ranked high on their current list of priorities. Like putting food on the table, and keeping a table to put it on?
