Hamas has an agenda to hate the US no matter who is president. They just find this one a little harder to hate and malign. This was actually a lot softer criticism of the US and a US president than past decades.

If the Palestinians were civilized this problem would have been solved long ago. But they are the front line fodder in the Arab war to destroy Israel. The snake has many heads. Israel should take out the Iranian nuke sites as soon as possible.

If the Israelis and their supporters had any morality they'd obey international law and stop the illegal land seizures, and the head long march of the Zionist state into full blown National Socialism.

Why must there always be a solution, right there you are begging to make a horrible mistake...

For somethings, there simply is no solution...!

I have been stating on this site since the beginning that the ONLY strategy that will work to get the settlers out of the West Bank is SANCTIONS! You cannot have peace without dismantling the settlements and returning that land to the Palestinians. You cannot have peace without JUSTICE!

Obama has a decision to make. Does he want to fail with the Middle East or does he have the will and the courage to do what it will take?

The only way to deal with Netanyahu is to get tough on the issue: pull funding, pull military aid and impose sanctions, boycotts and divestment. IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO PEACE!

Boycotts and divestments are working, but as for the rest, they are only slightly more possible of happening...than a blockade.

You guys are really funny -
Justice is for both sides not your onesided myopic view.
I am so tired of the same worn rhetoric you espouse every time.
There is a lot of fault on both sides but it would kill you to admit - again I say those of you with this view are an impediment to peace.
By the way - nice use of CAPS!

An occupier/thief doesn't get to have equal sympathies.

Unless you too are into appeasing the bully. Like our congressmen and women and those folks over there in the senate.

Tell you what ...

Lets arm the Palestinians with the same weapons that Israel has. You know ..... the army, air force, navy and nuclear weapons.

That should push the peace process along.

By the way -- terrible use of the word myopic.

Obama will have to prove with deeds . . . he has to pull the plug on all financial and military aid to israel . . . it has to be done . . . and UN sanctions against israel . . . these are the only ways that peace will have a chance

I don't blame them for their pessimism. The facts on the ground are such that a two state solution is now virtually impossible.

Still,. O is getting it from the Settlers and H am as. He must be doing something right. Neither are pleased. Sadly, any meaningful peace agrreement will have to bring these two groups together---the two most 'radical' on each side. I do hope Obama will include H ama s in the negotiations. Alienating them does not help---it only drives them further into the arms of Syria and Iran.

Hamas must be at the negotiating table . . . they were legally elected . . . I am feeling pessimistic too . . . nkhogan . . . israel must be stopped

Hamas was legally elected, but after they took legitimate power in the PA, they decided to violently overthrow their own government in Gaza. They then proceeded to establish a brutal theocratic dictatorship in Gaza and treat the Palestinians much worse than the Israelis treat them. Hamas has lost all of its elected legitimacy the day it took over Gaza with violence. Hamas' government is horrible for the Palestinians. They have no rule of law, no free speech, they are constantly being terrorized for opposing Hamas' policies, and they are forced to live under sharia law.

I know Macready; They were legally elected. The international community boycotted them at their own peril. It was wrong for the EU and the US to ignore the results of the election. And now we're reaping the whirlwind. Makes me so sad.
