I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Dick Cheney won't stop talking. He's been on a media tour of epic proportions over the past month, talking up torture and decrying Obama's policies. Colbert, of course, "agrees" with Cheney and thinks that when Obama closes Gitmo the remaining prisoners should have to go live with Dick in Wyoming.

Being from KS (and not living there anymore), I found this piece quite hilarious. Thanks again for keeping it real Colbert!

Well, Colbert has come up with another "win-win" solution! And with Cheney's new "gift of the gab", maybe he can give the detainees motivational speeches to help them change their outlook. Or at least revise historical facts to make their choices look more favorable in hindsight.

Like seizing Robert E Lee's estate at Arlington as a cemetery for Civil War dead there would be a poetic justice to sending Gitmo detainees to the Cheney ranch of a degree to which politics should more often aspire.

Priceless -- right on the money. Our prisons are filled with our own home-grown terrorists that I dare say make some of these real terrorists look like rookies. How about our beautifully organized, vicious street gangs, where one of the rights of initiation is shooting and killing a person for no other reason than it proves their loyalty. And these guys, when they're caught, are still able to do business from behind bars.

What is the definition of a terrorist?

Exactly. All of the previous Twin Tower bombers, Eric Rudolph, the OKC bombing group...in addition to gang members. All currently in US prisons and put there through our legal system.
Interesting that republicans say Americans in their districts are not up to the task of working to keep America safe.

The State Department defines "terrorist" as (paraphrased) "person who engages in premeditated, politically-motivated violence against civilians in order to bring about political change."

The gops define "terrorist" as "anybody who disagrees with us."
