I recommend strongly www.barterquest.com You can barter almost anything goods, services and real estate. I found beachfront house in Thailand, sent offer of my ny city condo and wanting for confirmation from my trade partner. Hope, I will be packing next week for the beach. Wish me Luck!

Communities that used a barter system in history prospered until a central money system was introduced which devalued their products. Cheryl Mikela

Bartering is great and have had good experiences but am now hesitant to use Craigslist.

Democrats never look at the cause and effect. You install my furnace, i fix your car. Try and overtax that you cash crazy liberals.

Keep in mind that a Barter is a taxable event, be sure and pay you fair share....

Exactly how do you determine what is a fair deal? And to whom do I pay the tax? Maybe just write a check for 25 cents (of course paying 10 cents for the check and 44 cents for a stamp - plus the envelope) and send it to the governor of my state?

And is receiving home grown tomatoes and corn but making the donor a cake considered 'barter'?
