Time to pay your TAXES Liberty U

Frankly, I think religious organizations in general should lose their tax exemptions. The fact that the tax code gives politically active spiritual organizations any kind exemption is a contradictory joke.

Falwell founded a university? Who knew!

Hypocrites. The Republican nominee for President last year endorsed stem cell research. Where was the University then? Oh, yeah, they were giving the students election day off so they could work on his campaign.

Liberty U. They do not understand the meaning of the word LIBERTY, they should be ashamed, but they are not!

They are also all over Govt jobs via the Bush Admin, just like cockroaches, difficult to get rid of.

Liberty University is not a school but a political organization financed by right-wing nutcases.

The late Jerry Falwell often emphasized, when giving spiritual talks, that "we believe in the premillennial, pre-tribulational return of Christ." Readers wishing to obtain some historical background of this theological phrase are invited to read "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" on the "Powered by Christ Ministries" site. Since the same 179-year-old, fringe-British-invented, American-merchandised-for-political-agendas "pre-tribulation rapture" view has long had a distinguished record of suppressing and even banning other end-time views, it is no surprise that "Liberty" University has adopted an un-American attitude towards campus Democrats!

Liberty University forbids a Young Democrats Club. Wow. Ironic. Kind of like a compassionate conservative, and oxymoron.

Liberty"s new slogan: "I think therefore I most go." If these people are examples of good Christians, atheism is beginning to look good.

Talk about being unclear on the concept. These are Godless, amoral political tinkerers. They have no understanding of Liberty. They are bad for America.

Kids, don't go to religious universities. You have no rights there. Many make you sign away your civil liberties as part of the admission agreement. You must agree to live by their beliefs both on and off campus (out of respect for THEIR religious freedom). They tell you what kind of sex you can have, what kind of substances you can put in your body, what you can and cannot say, and what kind of groups you can join. If they find out you've broken the rules, they can kick you out. Even if you share the University's values, you should never, ever sign away the right to act and speak according to your own beliefs.

There's no mention of the Bill of Rights in the "good book".

It's too late for governor Kaine to put a band-aid on this situation. Falwell tries to perfume the incident by describing the campus Democrats as "good Christian kids". But they are not good enough to be permitted Freedom of Assembly without harrassment by No-Liberty University.
