The Chinese took Tibet, ruined it, committed genocide, use the land as a site for nuke dumping and have decimated the culture, and done what they could to destroy Buddhism. Then they came for Nepal, a wonderful country, steeped in culture and the home to many refugees from Tibet.
They want to control Nepal and do to it, what they have done to Tibet....
Free Tibet!

I'm confused by your statement, China would be threatening nuclear war with India if it threatened the buffers of Nepal or Bhutan.

I hope Nepal can stabilize soon. Last thing it needs is to go back to civil war.

Apart from being Maoists the UCP of Nepal really has nothing to do with China, indeed China has very little to do with Mao these days.

The Chinese might be utter bastards to Tibet but life under the old theocratic regime was no picnic either. Also the Dalai Lama, despite his attempts to portray himself as such, is not the "Pope" of Buddhism and in no way speaks for the entire Buddhist community.

You shout "Free Tibet" but what does that mean, a return to the old feudal regime which kept 90% of the population in conditions of near slavery ?
