Desmond Hatchett: 29 Year Old With 21 Kids (PHOTOS) (VIDEO)

Desmond Hatchett, a 29 year old who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, has fathered 20 (maybe 21) children with at least 11 different mothers. The kids, who are between 11 months and 11 years old, require food, clothing, etc. which doesn't come cheap. That's a problem for their minimum-wage earning father.

"I had four kids in the same year. Twice." Hatchett says.

He was called to court last week where he appeared on the docket eleven times to answer for 15 of his 21 children who haven't received child support recently. The mothers of Hatchett's children are supposed to get anywhere from $25 to $309 a month, but the government is only allowed to take up to 50% of his pay check, and when that's split so many times some women only get a $1.98 a month.

Desmond Hatchett and his "girlfriends" are stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid people!!! They are flaunting the fact of how dysfunctional they are to society and we are paying for their fun. Both Desmond should be put in jail and sterilized along with his "girlfriends." They don't deserve to be parents and the children should be taken away from the mothers. How long are we going to let society be governed by the actions of stupid, irresponsible people?

The true sad part about this is that everyone seems to blame mostly the Father. What happen to the days when mothers warned their daughters about these situations and how to take care of them selves. Yes the women are to blame! As women we control not only IF we get pregnant, but by whom and the choice to continue the pregnancy or not. These "women" should have known this man well before sleeping with him. Once they knew him and his situations, the women could have decided to pursue "relationships" or not keeping in mind that any child would more then likely be there sole responsibility. The horrible thing is that they probably all knew each other, which is usually the case in the hood! I'm grateful that I had a mother who told me that even though I was married when I conceived and had my daughter, that she would FOREVER be MY responsibility. I work every day to make sure I can supply by daughters' needs and wants. I have NEVER been on any public assistance, but I do know that dealing with welfare is a job that doesn't pay well. These "women" should stop being lazy and get a F-ing job and of course the father having a second or third wouldn't hurt!!

Wow the comments here are very interesting. I agree with alot of you saying that both parties are to blame. How in the world do you not know this man has a lot of kids before you spread your legs open to him without protection?

And to those who said, "Of course he's black." Up yours!!! There is a man of every race that does this its just that black people's lives are more interesting. We make for better news. A black man today busted 21 nuts to make 21 babies news at 11.

Yes, but the difference is, is that the Mormon Separtists is that they aren't drug into family court for child support. They take care of their children. I'm in NO way saying I agree with the lifestyle, this Desmond person is not and cannot pay for his children....therefore the state has to step in - that's sad. He's an ignorant man, a sad pathetic man. And the 11 women are no better....these poor kids will be the ones to suffer with no father and a struggling upbringing...

Mormon Separtists are the white counterpart. They are Polygamists that have multiple wives and have 30+ kids there are some of them that will have wives that are 13 years old (sick), but you don't hear about that.

Comments here are interesting. So I wonder if a Mormon Separatist that practices polygamy gets the same comments, like castrate the guy, and welfare baby maker. Who cares He is handling his biz the best way he knows, he went to court and knows all his kids names and are still in relations with all the moms. And for people like this going on welfare spending Tax Dollars is miniscule; the US spends 75% of your Tax dollars on National Defense, which includes gives money to other countries, so they can solve their silly problems which the spend on fighting the US. So again who cares about a black guy having 21 Kids? Look at the whole picture!

Now, I can't blame the guy for wanting to get laid a lot with a wide variety of women. I've had a rather large number of lovers over the years, myself.

However, in 30+ years of being sexually active, I have only ONE child. I know what a condom is for and I'm not afraid to use them.

I raised the one child I had to adulthood, and wasn't interested, nor did I have the financial resources, to raise more. One was more than enough for me.

I'm wondering if this guy has chicken fat for brains by siring so many kids he can't afford to support.

Apparently this man has not heard of a genius invention called a condom. Nor did his girls hear about an awesome invention called " The Pill" plus he is not the only person to blame, the women should be at blame as well. All of them new well what happens when you do not take precautions. The only victims in this case are the children. They had no choice.

Now hopefully these parents take charge of there lives and of there kids lives. If not? Then hope God brings good influence into these kids lives so that they would be smarter then there parents.

First of all, this guy is not parading his bedroom behavior in public because ALL COURT CASES ARE PUBLIC RECORD. Family court cases are Tax subsidized, Just like Public transportation, DMV roads, fishing and hunting permits. It is the news media job to report the news, therefore they look at public records to make news; just happened this was interesting. You don't see him hiding his face because in court the media is allowed with the Judges consent. Tennessee law states that the both parents of the child are to appear in court if they are out of wedlock so they can arrange financial support of children so they are not neglected and put on the street. The guy is being responsible by appearing in court. Remember, it is the Taxpayers that placed people in office to make these laws. I guess they should have excluded black people. Hatchett even has to pay fees for each court appearance.
