Now it turns out the Gosselins are being investagated for child labor law violations, which makes sence because the kis are techniclly working as are Jon and Kate, this madness just keeps going on and on, it's not worth it, they say there getting 75 grand a show, the moneys good but look what it's doing to your life not to mention your family http://movies09.com/gosselins-investigated-for-possibly-breaking-child-labor-laws.php
These shows should be boycotted !!! See now we have the crazy Octomom wanting to immitate them and get rich at the expense of her children. And it is so obvious that the Gosslin's attitude has changed to the worst as they became wealthy.

I heard on the radio this morning that there is going to be a movie about the Gosselins. That has got to be a joke, right?
There's one thing in catching a bit of the show when you're changing channels but who would actually drive to the theater and pay for a ticket to see Kate on the big screen? Who would play Jon & Kate anyway?
It has already been released. It is called, "Drag Me Into Hell".
They'd play themselves, it would be an all-star adventure/thriller - something like this:
Kate and Jon (with the "bodyguard" in tow) take their brood to the Bahamas on a cruise for parents of multiples. Angelina Jolie shows up with her six kids and takes over an entire floor so the kids can have free reign terrorizing the halls. Other passengers are Octomom, the Duggars and Mel Gibson and his seven kids. Once en route, there is mass hysteria on board when the kids (all 27!) can't figure out which is their mother: Octomom, Jolie or Mel's girlfriend. Kate and Jon have a knock down, drag out by the pool (with Kate doing the knocking down and dragging out). Jolie puts the moves on Jon, Duggar Dad and Kate's bodyguard. Then the ship is hijacked by a rabid fan who forces the captain to change course. The "rabid fan" in disguise turns out to be Ryan Seacrest, who is still trying to get his exclusive interview with Jolie (who snubbed him at the awards). Simon Cowell shows up on his jet ski because he's upset that Ryan has been missing. Simon tells the ship captain to head to the UK. Once there, the parents (Octomom, Ma & Pa Duggar, Mel & his girlfriend, Jolie and Jon) catch the Susan Boyle show. Kate Gosselin (and bodyguard) storms out because Boyle, Jolie and Octomom are getting all the attention. Seacrest, as punishment for hijacking the ship, is forced to babysit all the kids.
Why does anyone care about these people?

More hype put out by publicists to be sure the gravy train continues.
I really do not see at this point how Kate is any different from Octo Mom. And yes if they have made thousands of dollars per episode they should have enough money to stop already and try to have some normal kind of life without cameras.
If you do the math, and simply add up what they may have possibly made from each episode of the show from TLC...I have heard many estimates about the exact amount being somewhere between $50,000 and $75,000 per episode. It would seem that they could easily qualify to purchase the home they are now living in. ( I have never heard the actual price of the house...but many who have posted here say it's worth 1.4million). Has it ever been stated IF they purchased the house outright or if they are possibly making mortgage payments, just as many of the rest of us are? I really don't have a clue one way or the other. But, I know that when we qualified for our house, I was shocked on the Amount of House that we could purchase...based on our income at the time...or our debt ratio...however it's decided. Neither really matters....even if they paid for it in full...they would still have plenty of already earned "funds" left over. And she, Kate, or someone has of course filled it with new pieces of furniture that they didn't have at the other house. Which really never had tons of furniture in it. I don't recall seeing any of the kids bedrooms so far in the new house, after they have moved in anyway. But, the furniture in those rooms was fairly new anyway. The little kids anyway.
It's so obvious that Kate is smitten with her body guard. My daughter saw Jon in Newburgh,N.Y, at a restaurant on the waterfront the day of the 5th season premier...the difficult episode..she (my daughter) chose not to get a media picture. But, she said he looked so somber and drained. He was with a young woman and an older women....someone did get photos and there now on the web...however....I think Jon was scorned and pushed away by Kate for quite a while. Why does she need to have the very same bodyguard with her where ever she travels...and they are saying people have seen them holding hands. Fess up Kate, and stop the charade of making Jon look like the bum. He's fighting to keep from becoming a phony,pseudo-star, materialistic, narcissist....and then what about the children...the poor kids!
We should stop watching the show, maybe the parents and the kids will go back to being normal. I mean 60K a week would make anyone crazy.
I would like to point out that the nanny is wearing a Liberty U sweatshirt. That's who this lame couple invites into their lives to influence their children. 'Nuff said.
That is the scariest part of the picture. Maybe Falwell is counseling Kaate on how to be a christian obsessive compulsive.
Jerry Falwell's been de_ad for two years. He could be counseling her from beyond the grave though.
I couldn't care less about this show, and I don't particularly care about Jon or Kate or even the "8", but you know, it's occurred to me that what people really, really like is a chance to pass judgment. Maybe that's the allure of reality television.
perhaps your right, the little I've seen sure makes me feel good, their lives are way more screwed up than mine! I get my reality show news from E on talk soup, the guy is hysterical, I went to see him when he did a show in Minneapolis.
