Bret & Amy Baier Talk Miracle Baby Paul On "Today" Show (VIDEO)

Anchor of Fox News' "Special Report" Bret Baier appeared with his wife Amy and their miracle baby Paul on the "Today" show Monday morning for an interview with Ann Curry about Paul's congenital heart defects.

While Paul, 2, doodled on paper (after reportedly tearing up the green room), Bret and Amy spoke with Curry about their son's condition. Paul was diagnosed with five congenital heart defects the day after he was born, and he's undergone two open heart surgeries thus far (with more to come).

Bret related the story about how President Bush called him the day of Paul's first surgery and told Curry how supportive former White House Press Secretary Tony Snow. The Baiers also shared the startling statistic that 2 million American adults are walking around with an undiagnosed congenital heart condition.

I am thankful for a healthy and active 17 month old son who just today tipped over a vase, a crystal candlestick and a picture frame; who threw his cereal bowl on the floor and wiped jelly from his English muffin on the rug; who said "no!" dozens of times with a smile on his face as he tried to take down a painting on the wall. He also ran to me when I was leaving for work yelling 'Dada!' at the top of his lungs -- I am grateful for all of it.
