Ha, ha, would be funny if it were true that's who she's named after.

God. America is one stupid country.

I'm sure there's more than one "Rebecca Rubin" in the world. Maybe the doll was named after one of the other ones. (Insert eye-roll here)

Ouch, first Jewish American Girl doll shares the same name as a criminal!

Eh, well regardless of this story (a simple mistake/unawareness on the part of the AG company IMO), I always thought the AG franchise was overrated. Thank god I only enjoyed a few of the books as a child. I can't remember those dolls being so unjustly expensive. I mean, $95 for a DOLL? Really?

What has the doll ever done to try to save the planet? Nothing!! it just sits there looking surprised that she can't breathe. ARREST that complacent, good for nothing piece of plastic and put her on the no-fly list and give her to one of your children to torture her. NOW THAT'S AMERICAN!!

I think Mattel planned this all along, a doll that's also a notorious criminal. That you can sell a doll for $95 IS criminal.

That doll costs $95. Back in the day you could buy a tenement for that kind of money.

So when some obscure criminal has a generic nickname, you can't use that nickname anymore? Could someone please rob a bank with the name "Nana"?
