It look like I have another reason to buy a new telly or get the old 1 repaired.

I liked Bravo when they were ad-free and their programming was focused on indie films, drama, performing arts. When they transitioned to pop culture TV I lost interest for a while but got hooked on Top Chef and Project Runway.

I miss the original programming but have Ovation TV now that has filled the void that A&E and Bravo left when they changed.

I stopped watching Bravo years ago when they started running commercials. I pay Dish (Comcast is the same) for the privilege of having Bravo as part of the package I get and yet they run commercials as well as take my money (Dish et al pays for the programming rights). So, I am pleased to say that I have not watched them in at least 10 years, and new brand or not, will continue to not watch.
Pleases me greatly to say that.
