Obama Not Keeping Up With Bush's Reading Pace?
CNN:
It appears President Obama has to step up his reading pace if he wants to beat his predecessor in one particular measure: how many books a president can polish off a year.

Not only did Rove sit George on his knee and read to him, but he made up most of George's lies
(like reading 95 books) because he couldn't even do that himself.
He's too busy inventing this:
http://www
That's because Obama is actually reading the books: George just looked at the pictures.
Oh, and there's also the fact that Obama is actually doing the work of the President, which tends to keep him pretty busy it seems.
George just let President Cheney handle "all that official presidenting type-stuff
So, Bush read more, recreationally, than Obama did, eh? Not much of a boast. Between reading and clearing bush on his ranch, just how much governing DID Bush do, anyway?
Seriously.
Out of all the things to brag about. Something that proves you weren't occupied doing the job you're paid to do. That's like someone bragging that they do 500 tweets every week on Twitter during business hours.
Well, when you consider that Obama actually reads real books and briefings, and when you consider that Bush probably counted, "My Pet Goat" and "Dick and Jane go to the Park" as part of his "books I've read" list, pretty easy to see how Bush can "read" so much.
P.S. Does George count picture books?
and reading comprehension makes a difference too. How much of "My Pet Goat" could Bush actually understand?
Obama is too busy repairing America from the abuses of the GOP to read any of W's remedial presidentn' books.
Besides, when you have already written two best sellers, you get some points.
Bush hasn't read 100 books in his lifetime. Why would anyone believe one word from that man?
No wonder the country is in such sad shape, Bush was too busy reading (trying to read) books, although there were lots of pictures. Whereas Obama is busy reading things like his daily briefings. I prefer the daily briefings myself.
History would be different if Bush had read what he shouldv'e been reading, like the National Intelligence Estimate titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US" while he was on vacation at his ranch in August 2001. Instead, he thought it was a Cover-Your-A$$ memo and didn't pay attention to it.
What a piker. Bush reads 100 books a year and Palin reads every single magazine and newspaper ever written. ("All of them, Katie"). Next to these intellectual giants, how can any of us mere mortals keep up?
Isn't comprehension an issue too.
I don't understand
