"Home," a documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, renowned photographer of "Earth From Above" fame, will air this Friday on the National Geographic Channel at 9 p.m. It is also being shown at discounted rates in some theaters, for free in open-air screenings, on YouTube and 80 TV channels, and sold, sometimes at a discount, on DVDs around the world.

WOW! What an amazing and beautiful program. If you missed it I know it is showing at least once more tonight. I am so glad it was mentioned that one thing you can do is to be mindful of your purchases. Unfortunately, most people do not know what to do! I have been a fan of Arthus-Bertrand for years. I have both of his earth books; he does have others that I haven't read. He is a brilliant photographer and has a perspective that is breathtaking in its ability to convey how truly rich and fragile our world is.
