I'm as anti-war as anyone, but this is simply beautiful and I appreciate this family letting us all share their joy and relief.

Watching this video makes me teary like a lot of other people. However, it angers me that this video exists. This is a private moment between a girl and her dad, and it should remain so. I think it is obcene for anyone to use the girl's emotions for gain..

Apparently her mother worked with the USAF public relations folks. I think it's purely human interest piece. With the D-Day memorials going on tomorrow, it's quite nice to see a military story with a happy ending.

Give me a break. They're documenting an extraordinary moment in the life of a family affected by the war. A brief news clip is hardly an exploitation.

it's not about gain, and i don't know how you come up with the word 'obcene' from that. if anything, it reminds us all on how these wars affect the little one's.

Sweet.

Too many daddies or mommies will never come home from a war that began on a lie. Countless innocent Iraqi daddies, mommies, and children will not be going home either. My heart breaks for those who will never have a moment like that.

I'm happy she can see her dad again. Let's hope more "flat daddy and flat mommy" homes see reunions like this one.

I love this clip.

The range of emotions displayed by this sweet little girl warmed my soul and reinforced what is really important once we strip away the static if daily life.

Notice how she touches her heart twice.

I am a 55 year old man, and I've seen this several time, and I tear-up. It's a combination of the joy of that child, and the ones whose parents don't make it back.

Made me cry, too. I noticed the little girl is wearing a peace sign on her shirt. Poor thing was completely overwhelmed at having her Daddy home again! Hope he doesn't have to leave her again.

Although this is a very wonderful and sweet moment, has any of the brainiacs in the media ever thought about the thousands of children who are watching this and reminded of how THEIR mothers or fathers are still NOT home from Iraq ! These 'heart warming clips' actually do more harm than good. WAKE UP MEDIA !

How about the mothers and fathers who come home in aluminum caskets? This was a touching clip. Imagine what goes through the mind of a child when war is brought up, excluding the morons who play stupid video games.
