Rupert Murdoch: Obama "Dangerous," Boston Globe Will Survive, Chase Carey Not "Heir Apparent" (VIDEO)

Rupert Murdoch

Rupert Murdoch told Fox Business Network's Neil Cavuto Monday morning that Barack Obama is not an extremist but that his policies "dangerous" for America. He also said that the Boston Globe will not disappear and that his recently installed #2, Chase Carey, is by no means his "heir apparent."

"I think Barack Obama would describe himself as a pragmatic leftist but he's not an extremist," Murdoch said. "I think he sees himself as a president for change and that involves bigger government. He's made no secret of that. I think that's dangerous."

Murdoch also voiced belief in the Boston Globe, whose union is voting today on pay cuts necessary to keep the paper alive.

"You know, Boston is a very highly unionized place and they may find that difficult but it's a great newspaper and a great institution, the Boston Globe, and I can't see it disappearing," he said. "Like all newspapers, I think it will change. We think of newspapers in the old-fashioned way, printed on crushed wood so to speak, with ink. It's going to be digital. Within 10 years I believe nearly all newspapers will be delivered to you digitally either on your PC or on a development of the Kindle, shall we say...something that's quite mobile and you can take around with you."

When asked whether DirecTV head Chase Carey, returning to News Corp to serve as the company's #2 executive, was his "heir apparent," Murdoch responded, "No, we're not making any commitments on that at all. Chase is coming in to be my partner and right-hand. He was with us for 17 years before, I think. It's like coming home."

Murdoch also dismissed Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's claim that he was using his media empire to trash Berlusconi as retaliation for higher satellite TV taxes in Italy.

"It's nonsense," Murdoch said. "There was a lot of comment a few months ago when he lowered taxes everywhere in Italy, all business taxes, except on satellite television which he doubled. And he does own the competition, and that tax did not apply when he owned [the competition]. That was business. Now we've not retaliated or said anything about that at all. I don't control what the editor of The Times of London says or The Economist says attacking him. The New York Times, God knows I have no influence there."

Murdoch is an agitator and threatens lives with that idi0t fake news channel of his.
He should be deported immediately with Fox News in tow.

Murdoch is slime. And he will be remembered long after he's gone for building the worst excuse for a television network in media history.

The Most dangerous man on earth should be banned for promoting hatred.
He's lucky that power impresses ignorant people...
We send people to jail for much less than that.

Here are a few words from a former intern of Fox News.
Some years ago, Murdoch hustled his buds in Congress to get him a rushed American citizenship so he could buy up more airspace than a foreign national could then legally buy. He is as much in love with America as Bin Laden is..
Rupert once fired slews of folks all in one month, and it was said that it was because each of them earned more than $40,000 per year (* in NYC). He replaced them with an openspace bull pen on the 10th (or was it the 12th floor?) he filled with new grads he bought for pennies on the dollar.
After I left Fox,... I got a letter saying that if there was an opening, Mr.Aihles' assistant would contact me. My written reply was "I'd rather eat glass."
Rupert is a man without a country ... and without loyalty to ours for sure. He doesn't like our choice of President?. My advice: Go home to Australia ,Old man.

Murdock is the dangerous one he thinks because he owns things he can tell every one what to say and do and if that is not dangerous I don 't know what is.Murdock owns Faux Noise and that is the most biased station their is and it can't even be called news because it is all opinions and biased ones at that, I have seen and heard them turn peoples words around,I did not need Jon Stewart to tell me that.,They are not worth watching or even listening to videos of .Have you ever watced Gret5a or Bill O they both talk over people and make mountains out of mole hills.

Deport Him. He cares nothing for the United States, he only went after citizenship so he could buy more media holdings here. He cares only for money. He has no code or ethics. Why do Republicans and right wingers follow a foreigner anyway? They must hate America.

The raciest news network keeps on plugging. They keep nutts like the one that just shot up the museum and the one that killed the doctor going. Their appeal lies in the small minded individuals that can only see the world one way. When will they learn that this world is made of many colores not just "White"! They don't truly want the country to get better financially or otherwise. Especially with a Black Man at the helm!. Their job is to keep feeding the flames of hatred in this country. They all need to be tried on charges of treason. In any other country they would be shot!

Rupert Murdoch needs to be Deported! We all know America is capable of dealing with the Truth, but Murdoch doesn't Deal with the Truth! He warps Fact beyond recognition and presents it as anti-American Government Mantra which feeds the RightWingers he has helped Create and exists only to serve. Call it whatever you wish, but evicting him would be no more discriminatory than the UK denying Michael 'Savage' Weiner entry into GB.

Reality Check Mr. Murdoch.......
I just can't believe how out of touch this guy really is...
The Disabled people he is talking about are not content with living at the Poverty level. This is were their incomes are set by the Government....
Preventative Health care is his solution.... Same crap we all have been told for years as the costs go through the roof...
All water under the bridge now..
Most people who will read this probably don't have a job or insurance anymore anyway.

Obama is dangerous? Murdoch is the single leading proponent of corporate fascism in this country. I can tell he really took Joseph Goebbels comments to heart

The evidence is in. Murdoch is definitely a descendant of derange banished inmate from the penal colony,

America should have learned by now that we can't keep listening to these old white men.
