Howard Stern Hates On Leno, Lauds Letterman For His Loyalty (VIDEO)

Howard Stern went on the "Late Show" last night and skewered both Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien. He referred to the latter as "This Conan" and the "new guy," treating him as the upstart who dare not take on Dave. Stern repeatedly said how much pressure he felt to help Dave beat the new "Tonight Show" host in the ratings. Stern, a loyal guest of Letterman's, maintained that Dave put him on the air when he was an unknown and he won't appear on other late night shows as a result.

Howard had much harsher words for Leno, declaring "I didn't like Jay, I never liked Jay, I can't stand Jay." Letterman was obviously embarrassed throughout the segment, half-heartedly trying to change the subject. "I've never seen anybody who behaves like a robot like this guy," Stern continued, "I watched his final show (he says goodbye to the "Tonight Show") he's reading off a teleprompter for crying out loud. Where's the emotion and where's the humanity?"

Stern relayed his first and only experience on Jay's show saying he went on with two lesbians and Leno walked off his own set. "I knew it wouldn't last," Stern said of the man who hosted the "Tonight Show" for 17 years.
