Rockstar Energy Drink Hides Deep Ties To Michael Savage

Did you know ultra-conservative talk radio guy Michael Savage has intimate family connections to Rockstar Energy Drink? If lawyers for the company have their way, you wouldn't, because over the past week they've started going after people who have publicized the connection. They managed to get one guy's "Boycott Rockstar" facebook account closed without warning, and threatened him with a business libel lawsuit if he didn't publicly apologize. A gay news website, gaywired.com, has had to publish a partial retraction. None of this changes the fact that Michael Savage's son is listed as the founder and CEO of Rockstar, or that Michael Savage's wife is listed as the director, treasurer, and secretary of both Rockstar and Savage Productions. Or that both companies share the same address.

Put aside the hate filled comments about the GLBT community....at least look at it from the point of view of what he has said about children suffering from autism! If for no other reason, this product deserves to boycotted by as many millions of people as we can recruit!

I'm gay and i have been sharing this information with friends...and we are boycotting "rockstar"...I know the boycott is going to pick up....they are going to feel it. Sorry, BUT the LGBT is MY FAMILY...and we don't like Michael or anything related to him.

I first learned about that connection from David Brocks "The Republican Noise - Machine Right-Wing Media and How It Corrupts Democracy." Ever since then I make certain anyone I see drinking one knows exactly the kind of "man" who benefits from their purchase.
