None of the above. Todd has been a disappointment to me. He's become the typical "I am not part of the Liberal Media" squad. All of them could go away and the value of our "news" would not change. This is a case of if they didn't exist--so what?

What about Sam Stein from Huffington Post? In addition to Helen Thomas, what about Daniel Schorr during the Nixon administration? None of the current crop impresses me much. I would rather hear the after hours pundits like David Corn (Mother Jones Washington bureau chief) or Richard Wolffe of Newsweek than any of the designated major network faces you gave us to choose from.

My favorite is anyone with the balls to ask probing questions and who doesn't make a habit of licking boots so they won't miss out on "access" or parties.

And that #1 title, my friends, rightfully belongs to Helen Thomas.

I saw the headline and couldn't stop a laugh from escaping. Honestly I love to watch one of them for one reason only... he seems to be trying to use as many words as he can to say absolutely nothing, although occasionally he does try to discredit the President. That is the only time he says anything at all... and so my winner is... Chuck Todd.

One major problem with ALL these people: they think we're tuning in to see THEM, not to find out what they're being paid to ask Gibbs/Obama. It's all an ego trip with these people. They need to back away from the mirror and do their jobs. They don't know the difference between reportage and punditry.
