As a child, I remember visiting Ripley's BoN and being most impressed and frightened with the torture room. The rack, the mummy, the screws, the iron maiden - things that would make the Marquis de Sade blush. Perhaps if Ripley can acquire an original water bucket and board from Dick Cheney ...

There are plenty of oddities out there..

MTR
what a coalsludgepit looks like
the rate of glaiser melt
the level of mercury in deep sea animals
the dwindling fresh water supply
the deterioration of coral reefs
the number of mammals on the endangeredspecies list...

And, the band plays on.

Well, there is always the GOP. Pick anyone of them - they can start with Limbaugh or Cheney.

Fox News actually does something fair and balanced - now that would be an oddity.

Or honest Republican who puts their constituents first. No, that would be a miracle.

They are running out of oddities? Just spend some time examining the current Republican Party and they can come up with some real whoppers . . . A nationally-prominent office seeker from Alaska with the brain of an addled Grizzly bear? You betcha'!
A host of Republican stalwarts who want the nation under Democratic leadership to fail miserably so that they can say, "I told you so"? As plain as the long, long nose on Dick Cheney's face.
An ex-Governor from the State of Massachusetts who pushed for universal health care while in office yet does not see the obvious hypocrisy of his current stance of lambasting Obama for wanting to do the same thing on a national level? Check . . .

I was going to suggest Glenn Beck but 9 million people beat me to it. Anyway after a little research I found there is no container large enough to contain his stupidity.

Or obama's without the teleprompter.

The operative term here is "grip on the English language", of which Bush never had but, more importantly, never though he needed to have.

That teleprompter nonsense is so lame....Is he supposed to memorize every speech? You don't think he might have more important things to do?

Have you ever seen him in a town hall setting...obviously not. He does just fine without a teleprompter. To compare him with Bush just shows your i.gnorance...not anyone else's.

The beautiful thing about President Obama he can hold his own with or without a teleprompter. Bush could not read so a teleprompter or written speech was useless.
