The BRITA Water System works great and my family of 5 is saving at least $40.00per month not buying bottled water.

I have had the occasions to live in Naples, Italy and I would think twice to let my dog drink the water from the taps, when there was water. The water system in Venice may be drinkable, but further south in Italy, the tap water situation gets much worst.
Filtration systems for now, yet the sustainable long term solution that I see will have to come in the form of "The Humanure Handbook: A Guide for composting Human Waste"

Fascinating read, absolutely groundbreaking (so to speak) in a very profound way.
I just cleared out the area where the new compost piles will be--however, I'm not around the kind of people that I can share such plans with, they'd lose their minds. People already think I'm bizarre as it is.

Good; bottled water is nonsense. Why buy water from Pepsi and Coke when my fridge has a filter built right in to it? Waste of plastic, and it tastes like crap anyway.
