This is a major re-direction of global influence! I think it is great for the world and for us (USA)! Why? We (USA) cannot handle being the sole super power on earth. Plus it give smaller nations a venue to feel important and collectively harness influence in a constructive way. The USA may be the best democracy on earth, but let's be real, it is far from perfect and we've become a self serving capitalist country! Far from our founding fathers ideals and doctrines, and sacrifice!!

Anybody notice that we have lost something called "respect"?

As a child back in the sixties we would vacation in Mexico. There would always be many children looking through the windows at us “the Americanos". We were like rock stars. To be American was it! Today we have to make sure we park in a safe place if we even go there anymore. Many adults I knew as children now feel that we are a self-absorbed hypocritical culture that hates even our own neighbors.

Today I see that we are ignorant to many things that happen outside “our world” and we are even blind to how we treat each other. I feel we need to as they say, "Pick up our game". This group that has convened should be a wakeup call for all of us. We need to remember that we are a country of trendsetters’ not lazy, out-sourcing, fat-ass, hate-filled people that fork out cash to anyone who is willing to do our dirty work.

We have had a few years of steady decline in ideology as well as humility. We have made some bad decisions that have cost us respect throughout the world, but we are still creative, intelligent, and free - the advantages that made us "It" in the first place. The rest of the world is catching up quick. Break time is over!
