Converts to any cause are usually annoying fanatics until they settle down. Everything becomes a pi**ing contest over who's the better environmentalist/Christian/fill-in-the-blank. I stay away from fundamentalists of any stripe. Especially Moonies hawking Amway products. ;-)

I suppose I'm more than a lazy environmentalist and more of a hostile environmentalist. I live two miles from my work but I drive anyway. I drive a convertible but keep the A/C on. I use only styrofoam cups at work and I only use them once each.

most environmentalists are lazy sheeple who follow the cult blindly with little or no actual knowledge of what is going on .

Being an environmentalist and still driving an Audi isn't lazy, it's selfish. Priuses aren't any harder to drive, they're just not as flashy.

Maybe 'The Half-Assed Environmentalist' would have been a better title?

Judging people for what car they have is nimwitted. The prius driver who lives 15 miles away from work is worse than the audi driver who lives 10 miles away.

1/ Don’t produce wrapping designs/materials than cannot be easily disposed of. (Unless an offset surcharge is incorporated in the purchase price).

2/ Devise universal containers customised with inexpensive paper label/coverings.
(Identify problem items and organise open competitions to find solutions)

3/ Utilise prison labour for refuse sorting/reclamation duties, using offers of sentence reduction. (Free up cells, and reduce institution running costs).

Yes.
And I keep my incandescent lights before I prefer the warm glow, and I ride my bike to work because I hate holding a steering wheel on a jammed "freeway". (And I love the snow egrets on the bike trail and the wild flowers I can take to my office.)
