Too bad she listened to her father and boyfriend. Now, she is humiliated and feels forced to lie to cover their shame. It's not freaky at all, kind of a neat design. Well done body illustration is an artform. I don't think it has anything to do with lack of self esteem - if anything, the opposite. It is art on a live canvas. The entire world is living, breathing art; why not continue the creativity with really good body illustration?

For some, attention seeking may be the issue, but my 2 tattoos are in places that are not seen by anyone unless I am butt naked, which means only myself and my husband ever see them. They are like works of art on my body that I enjoy (and my husband does too).

um its "tattoos" and im pretty much covered and i have NO self esteem issues, for you to assume someone with tattoos has "issues" says you have low self esteem!! this poor girl was prob messed up and made a mistake but is young and easily influenced to try and turn this around on the artist that tattooed her((if she was messed up she should have been refused service))

I have two tats and I can guarantee you that you do not sleep through the procedure. It is usually painful and this girl couldn't have sleep through 56 stars being inked on her face...no way! She is telling a big fat lie!

Who would (or could) sleep while having their face tattooed? And if she was concerned about the artist not understanding what she wanted she should have asked to see the design ahead of time or gone right out the door and found someone she was comfortable with.
