This is actually *good* news. The idiot right continutes to 'purify' the party entirely out of existance. The more groups they offend and disenfranchise the better. They've very nearly bisected the party into two incompatible subgroups - the missing-fr­ont-tooth, John Deere baseball cap, camou hunting vest crowd, and the rotund white haired country club elites. As a straight male, I agree with RightWingMarine's sentiment -- probably the only thing we will ever agree on -- but I can't account for that double standard. I don't think lesbians OR gay males are a threat to the Republic, and if they want to marry each other it's not up to me or the government to tell them not to.

Well, the double standard does suck, but keep in mind that the people who usually speak out against the pic of two dudes are usually as equally offended by two girls. So right there, those folks are equal-opportunity haters. But there are also people (dudes and girls) who get turned on by just the two girls pic, or just the two dudes pic, or heck, maybe even both.

All kidding aside, it's probably because much of news and media is dominated by men who want to see the lesbian pics but not the gay male pics. That is a double standard.

The sight of two men doesn't disgust me in the least, it just doesn't trip my trigger-- as I"m straight and attracted to women. I support both equally, and feel they should have the same rights and protections I do under the law.
