Wall Street Journal:

Cardigans these days are bursting with stripes, florals and those ever-popular animal prints, as well as vibrant solids. Choose snug styles with high armholes that fit a bit like a blouse with the top buttons open; you can add necklaces or scarves if you like.

I'd venture a guess that the folks who are making comments still wear pantyhose with sandals and will not leave the house until they match from head to toe. How boring....................

She looks like she will pop out of that sweater. Not the best advertisement if you're the cardigan.

If I wanted to coordinate anything in fashion, I would ask Carolina Herrera (Coco's long gone).

The colors are flattering, however tiny cardigans usually look better on less curvy body types since it seems to really accentuate those great curves. cheryl mikela

And....wear a cardigan not sized for kindergartners....

That might work too.

Cardigans has been in fashion forever. However, all I could remember of them that they are worn snug over your shirt. But, Mrs. O has shown us different ways it can be worn or accessorizing with different jewelry and belts. Many people wear their Cardigans ties over their shoulders, now I've seen Mrs.O style everywhere.

OMG! That is the funniest thing I've ever read--and it's paired with one of the more unflattering pictures I've seen with MO, which demonstrates very well WHY the majority of women look chunky and flat-chested in those toddler sweaters.

My second fashion tip would be to buy the right size.

I like Michelle but her clothes are terrible.

Oh, lord, don't get me started.

I think this is one of the funnier articles I've ever read on HuffPost (outside of the Comedy Zone). That title, and then that picture....as Bugs Bunny would say, "OH, PRUNELLA!"

Pay attention - it's from the Wall Street Journal.

I must say, your ongoing anti-Michelle crusade is dedicated and single minded, if rather creepy.

Cardigans are so much more diverse these days, ranging from the dressiest to the most casual, are very packable for travel, and are great wardrobe makers. In an over-air conditioned room or on a chilly day, nothing quite knocks off the chill like a good sweater.

There is a wide diversity, but one thing all of those toddler sweaters have in common is the fact that they look terrible on the majority of women who wear them. Just look at the picture of MO up there. Is HuffPost trying to be funny?

Okay, I love cardigans, but you guys KNOW that anything that is positive about the First Lady is going to bring out the crazies.

That is untrue and, if you've posted here, you know it. I would say the majority of the posts I've read that indicated a dislike of the way MO dresses always contained the disclaimer that they think she is an incredible woman, accomplished, etc.

What brings out the criticisms are the outfits she wears--and articles like this, which are absolutely hysterical! It's as good as her being given the fashion icon award at a function where NOBODY there wore any of MO's iconery.

PA , I challenge you back in November and it still stand; let us judge you and what you wear for a week! Maybe after that someone will listen to your little snide remarks rethug; until then, you are irrelevant and not worth listening to.
I love asking you to do it because I know for a fact that you are a bark; and it is never going to happen rethug RDN! LOL
