Trust the man who bulldozed Meigs Field in the middle of the night? Trust the man who sold the Skyway and parking meters out from under the taxpayers? Trust the man who said the Millennium Parking Garage would pay for Millennium Park? He has chutzpah but no trust.

We should not trust a guy who as States attorney for Cook county in the 80,s, looked the other way while cops beat confessions out of innocent men! Daley's time is up!

The Olympics was "bought" for Chicago years ago. Obama is another credit to the reason why Chicago will be rewarded the Olympics as well. Why is this interesting because the south side of Chicago is where they are planning to place the Olympic games. They will gut all the south side of Chicago of the low income residents to get their Olympics, leaving those landowners and slumlords in Chicago to profit from it. Oh lake shore drive will be closed for 3 years during the construction as well....and Chicago will pay for it.

Impossible to trust Daley on anything. He has no credibility whatsoever. And if the 2012 games' price of around $4+B multiplied by a factor of three for the British (to over $12B) it probably is not unreasonable to think with inflation and typical Chicago cost overruns that our same price estimate would more likely over four times over budget to somewhere in the neighborhood of $16 billion. Aside from potential bankruptcy there would be the international humiliation if Chicago got the games but then couldn't deliver them because the money ran out and they got too far behind in schedule. Well, the world sure would remember the city's name then.

Trust Daley? You're kidding me. The Dick Daley has put the taxpayers of Chicago and the State of Illinois on the hook for some serious money.

I seem to remember Daley creating all that hype about Millennium Park only to find out later that it went $350 million over budget and was four years late in construction.

DaleyCo has violated the public trust each and every time it has been profitable to do so. He has played nothing straight, ever. Even when their is no "need" for deceit, he strives to deceive. It is pathologic.
