Letterman explained this week that Father's Day is the superbowl of holidays, while Mother's Day is just a pre-game practice. He then launched into a list of things dads hope you never say to them including, "I know you don't play golf, but golf balls were easier to shoplift."

Because he is a comedienne and used satire to protest. If Congress and the American people could not stop the deaths and millions of ruined lives, kept silent, and "approved" of the policies by voting for him a second time, what were your expectations of a comedienne?

Point of note: "Comedienne" is the feminine form of the word "comedien." But other than that, I agree -- Letterman used comedy to protest, because that's his medium. If he was Picasso, he would have painted, and if he was Washington he would have staged a military uprising, but he wasn't, so he didn't.
