Andrew Young Book: John Edwards "Baby Daddy" To Tell All

Another player in the John Edwards love child drama is speaking out, telling editors he feels betrayed by the once-friendly Edwards family. Campaign worker Andrew Young who claimed to be the father of Rielle Hunter's child and was paid to take her into his home for eight months is shopping a tell-all book proposal dishing about the sex scandal.

Elizabeth Edwards' memoir may not be the only book John Edwards has to worry about. Last week, Andrew Young, a lifelong friend of Edwards and a longtime aide, began shopping a book to New York publishers; according to his proposal, represented by David McCormick at McCormick Williams, the book would chronicle the tale of his long friendship with the Edwards family, his attempt to help Edwards by taking a pregnant Rielle Hunter into his home to live with him and his wife, Cheri, and their three children, and the fallout when the press (and Elizabeth Edwards) caught wind of the plan.

Cherubim - either you are Elizabeth Edwards or you are a close friend of hers or maybe just a wannabe. Who else would so vehemently defend someone unless they met her? Elizabeth
Edwards purposely put that bit about John's affair in the book to sell it, hello......John Edwards
is the baby's father, they are all just waiting for Elizabeth to die so the truth, the book, and the
movie can come out.

i think it's all about the timing - edwards has very recently been making noise about a political comeback. dragging this back out of the closet should quash that for awhile!

I don't know why Edwards doesn't come clean. What kind of person denies paternity? The truth will come out, no one will care.

interesting how they were so concerned about "taking care of" Hunter.
She sounds very capable of taking care of herself. In fact she sounds downright manipulative and
scheming. Of course if they just wanted to shut her up.....

I USED to feel sorry for Elizabeth Edwards - that's until she admitted knowing about the affair and possible love child during the primaries. Had John won the nomination this nation would have been looking at President McCain and Vice President Sarah Palin.

Edwards was my first candidate. One thing I admired was that he seemed so dedicated to his wife.

I honestly don't care what he does with his personal life. The problem is that he now has ZERO political capital left.

No one except his small group of faithful care about his views on health care. He won't be invited on to the "news" unless he wants to talk about the scandal. No other politicians even want to be seen with him. He's a political ghost.

As you can see, with John Ensign and Newt Gingrich being just two recent examples, the other side does not kill their wounded. They pick them back up, and use them effectively in the fight.
