just because algore's house is twenty times the size of anyone elses..
doesn't mean he leaves the lights on in every room and has central heating and a/c!
and i heard somewhere that he travels now in bicycle-cades too.
that must be quite a sight..
The rich lives well !
you mean the evil live well.
and now Algore is also worth over $100 million thanks to his GlobalphobicPonzi scam
Right, I wonder who planted that meme into your brain??
common sence,try it.
When we start to decide that we can limit a person's house, that's when we've lost our freedom.
Perhaps if you want to do that you can move elsewhere?
Son, that's what the movement is all about, limiting and contolling humans. There are those who suggest and support laws that downsize everything we do in the name of conservation. Ever hear of Eugenics? There are plenty of green minded people out there who are in complete support of the concept.
it's part of obumba's new world order.
I agree completely 100%. But, you don't get the point. I could live in a huge house much larger than I would ever need, and that is my right. But if I went out and told you to conserve energy while I had this energy hog of a house, I am a hypocrite. That is the problem.
Flippin hypocrite. When Al and Tipper are living in a Wigwam, then I might think he's on to something.
Yes, I'm glad now that "we" stole the election in 2000 and installed the rich elitists Cheney and Bush...now "we" can pollute the water and air with mercury and arsenic, and every other toxic waste as much as we want because Al Gore spent more money on his electrical bill...tha
Still crying about losing an elections according to the rules of our government. Sad. Man mase global warming is a scam. We should clean up oceans and lakes and rivers before we worry about the big bad carbon monster. There is a patch of floating plastic in the pacific the size of texas! Why dont we worry about that first. Cow burps create more methane than cars produce CO2 but obama isnt talking about nationalizing the beef industry.
your probaly a peta victim also.
Why would normal person need a 20 room mansion? He doesn't have 20 kids, does he? What a waste of resources.
June 16: The Gores' home is certified by the US Green Building Council as a Gold LEED certified home for retrofitted homes. As part of the LEED certification process, they upgraded their windows, lighting, appliances and insulation, among other items in and around the home [...] The residence is powered with a geothermal system as well as 33-solar panels. The Gores also participate in the "Green PowerSwitch" program offered by their utility [company].
Kreider also noted that, contrary to what was claimed in the original e-mail, the Gores' residence "does not have a guest house."

But does the LEED certification have a limit to how large a residence can be before its relative efficiency becomes moot? e.g. However "green" Oprah might make her home, a 23,000 sq. ft. single-family home is not sustainable building.
Similar to the Prius debate, is it more "green" to own a Prius, even to have converted it to a plug-in hybrid, or to rely on public transportation and other "shared" resources for getting around.
The poster children of the high-end "green" movement may be better than doing nothing, but they're typically not solutions that scale to the masses.
he own stock in all those companys
