Republican Governors

Politics Daily:

Facing a tough Republican primary fight next year in his bid for a third term, Gov. Rick Perry of Texas is brandishing the heavy artillery: Sarah Palin's endorsement of his campaign."If there's a bigger endorsement in the Republican universe, I don't know who it is than Sarah," he declared in a telephone interview over the weekend. He described the Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee as a "close personal friend" who knows my heart."

When I see these two together it reminds me of that GOP governors convention right after the election. Palin was giving that stupid press conference, was asked a tough question and Perry jumped in to "rescue" her. The look she gave him, you can tell she liked him taking charge of the situation and of her. Any Other woman would have found it demeaning the way he took over and grabbed her arm to move her forward, but not Palin. So much for being feminist.

Let's put these two at the top of the GOP ticket in 2012!!!!! They make a beautiful two sum, dumb and dumber. Hate and fear are their talking points.

The mind reels - the blessing of a missed-the-mark Springer-esque thumb-on-the-scales red meat merchant is "the biggest endorsement in the Republican universe"! An endorsement from someone who has no articulated alternative to or solutions for any of the myriad challenges facing our nation - economically, socially, internationally - but knows a nasty joke when she hears one. A global laughingstock our enemies would just love to plot rings around. Incredible - you just can't make stuff like this up...

mmmh! what's up with that statement? Secede Perry and secede Palin.

I remember Palin endorsed McCain for president, but I forgot what happened. Did McCain win?

"She "Knows My Heart""

of course. both of their hearts are rotten to the core.

I'm not sure Palin's endorsement of Perry is going to help him. It would be like the main character of the Stephen King's Misery film endorsing Jeffrey Dahmer. Even in the backwards state of Texas, that kind of a crazy combo seems to be a pairing of the past. Rev. Bookburn - Radio Volta

Doesn't it bother him that hers is the only one in this country that's bigger than his?

Yes 'land' wise Alaska is bigger.
But Texas has millions more people - that's what counts.

Um ...I feel icky.....I think the First Dude should probably keep an eye on the Gubner....I get the feeling that "she knows my heart " is code word for "were a gittin it on in the name of Jebuz"!! Just makes me cringe,,, but then I have that reaction all things Republican !!
