Palin Attacks Blogger For "Malicious Desecration" Of Trig Photo

Sarah Palin has teed off against another mocking observer -- this time a local blogger who edited a photo of the governor and her youngest child to include a local conservative talk show host.

In a statement sent to Politico, Palin's spokesperson said:

Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.

The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.

Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned.

The blogger, Linda Kellen Biegel of "Blue Oasis," responded:

To those folks at a certain Palinbot site who think the picture above is of Trig, let me use a phrase many of you are familiar with...

YOU FAIL AT LIFE!!!!!!

It's called "Baby Burke" because it's Eddie Burke...basically his probable second-biggest fantasy about the Governor.

The photo was used to promote a fundraiser to request Palin administration records of "potentially questionable conversations between with "preferred" members of the media."

I'm a big Palin fan and supporter....Notice that the people that do not support her have no class at all and a very poor sense of humor and judgement. It's totally sick to use a baby to get a point across. If it were your baby, it would be different.

As always, people who have any intelligent criticism or points to make, use logic and words to state their position and thoughts...or even create clever political cartoons. Those who cannot think in any depth, or who lack creative talent, do childish things like doctor photos of a special needs child, or shout playground taunts or fault someone because her children were photographed just as every other candidates' children have been since cameras became ubiquitous. I dislike the woman, but I am appalled at how much hatred still exists for women in politics in this day and age. Misogyny is why Hillary Clinton lost the primary after she had been so clearly in the lead and well on her way to becoming the first woman President of the United States. Think about it.

Go to the BBC website and read the article about the
"witch" lynching in Kenya- everybody remembers the youtube video Sarah
getting "de-witched" by her Kenyan pastor.
Now THAT is an intolerable insult to all humanity.

Sarah should have left her children at home where they would have been protected from public scrutiny, but she chose to parade them around to further her personal agenda. First off, that "response" on my blog was a whole day before Meghan Stapleton said anything...it was a response to the blog that started the whole "faux outrage." That was a response from one blogger to another. No one has bothered to ask me for a quote/response to Stapleton.

Having followed the whole saga of your quest for release of the emails (and having kept up with the close, close, CLOSE relationship -entanglements?- of the Palin Camp-Burke Mouth), I knew, immediately when I saw the "maliciously" desecrated photo, *exactly* the point you were making. The satire was perfect - you couldn't have chosen a better photo to "maliciously" 'desecrate' in illustrating your point

Unfortunately, many people reacting to the (above) article have no clue about who Eddie Burke is...let alone about his 'relationship' to/with Palin and her goings-on. Please don't let their uninformed nasties and snarks discourage you - I'm pretty sure that *if* they knew the backstory to the above article, they wouldn't have knee-jerked the way they did.

Not that I think highly of using people's kids to make a political point but I can't help but wonder if Palin's retort is not also a thinly veiled attempt to profit politically off her own kid.

And the truly admirable thing about Republicans like Palin, Limbaugh is their ability to link every offense, every outrage, no matter how remote, back to Obama. It's as if Obama personally held a puppet string to each and every one of his supporters. *plays sinister Twilight Zone tune*
