I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Conan and Andy predicted the future once again last night telling us that in the year 3000, Manny Ramirez will still be playing baseball (although, for a new team) and Heidi and Spencer will still be able to birth a child (although, not human).

See the first "In The Year 3000" here.

No wonder Letterman is clobbering this guy. It’s not that funny.

That was painfully insipid. I'll thank HuffPo not to trouble us with such useless links in future. With all the dramaturgical potential inherent in these times, this is the best Conan et al, can do? If so, they deserve to be dead last in ratings, I've seen better efforts at junior high talent shows.

Avoiding the issues of the day may make for "safe" content, but it simultaneously and indelibly marks one as a collaborator. In case the crew at NBC hasn't noticed: we're waging bogus holy wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and even Iran (we've had Special Forces there for months now). So your antics come off as banal (at best) and simply asinine the rest of the time.

In the year 3000, the US will still be occupying stolen (Indian) land, and thus will naturally support Israel's right to do likewise with land stolen from Palestinians.

A. This is the entertainment section.

B. Not everyone has the same taste in comedy.

Relax, you wrote 150 words ranting against the year 3000... And "dramaturgical potential inherent in these times." Wow you're pedantic.

How about you just don't click on the links? Not everyone has the same tastes.

And by the way, I must have missed the part where The Tonight Show was supposed to be a news show.

I have always found this funny.

Maybe it's the falsetto.

Yeah, it's the falsetto.

Is that Shatner doing the intro? I always loved this bit - great to see he's keeping it up

No, that's Richie "LaBamba" Rosenberg who sings the bits in between jokes. He's been in Max Weinberg's band for years.
