NEW YORK — Paramount Pictures says Diane Keaton is "in good health and spirits" after falling and bumping her head on the set of her latest film.

Keaton sustained the injury Monday in New York, where she was filming the comedy "Morning Glory," co-starring Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams.

Paramount publicist Rona Geller issued a statement, saying the 63-year-old Oscar-winning actress was taken to the hospital for precautionary tests. Keaton has "been cleared by doctors to return to work tomorrow."

Keaton won an Academy Award for 1977's "Annie Hall." She's been nominated three other times _ for "Reds," "Marvin's Room" and "Something's Gotta Give."

She is good in comedies. In Something's gotta give was funny and still hot:

A quirky and great actress.

I don't think Diane acts. She just plays herself in these movies. Wears her own clothes and when you see her in a movie, you say " Oh it's her, Diane." I never believe her acting is acting.

Hmm. Diane is actually interesting enough and has this vocabulary of idiosyncrasies that are always evolving that make it a moot point, which is unique. I'm glad she's safe & sound!

Good luck on the recovery. She's one of a few actresses who has talent and intelligence.
She actually met with her collaborator drove to Lakewood herself -no entourage et al (a city planning exec in Lakewood Ca.) while they were developing their book California Romantica.. She has done work for the LA Conservancy on preserving LA's landmark buildings.

Is it just me? Or do I remember a time not (very) long ago when Diane Keaton was germophobic and wearing weird looking evening gloves and driving gloves everywhere and with every outfit?? It was either because she was afraid of germs- or because she had some weird obsession that her hands "looked old"... Anyone else remember that?

Perhaps her closet is pristine (?). ;-)

Just thinking about her gets that song going in my head; "Seems like old times, dinner, date and flowers..." She did it so well. Cheers, Diane.

How hard do you have to hit her to get to stop making crappy movies (Mad Money, Because I Said So, Etc.)?

Keaton was not her given name. She chose it after Buster Keaton.

Her real name was Diane Hall, and her nickname is Annie....
So " Annie Hall" is about her, and we see "her" in all of the movies, regardless of character "names". It's not hard to be yourself. People like her personality though, for the most part. So why change a good thing if it works.

Seriously. Forget about the extreme mouth make-over (Huge, super-white Chicklets for teeth) so many stars go for, and just whiten --- somehow!

Diane Keaton is a good actress, and a very nice person (I met her while she was filming "Marvin's Room"). However, the wire service author, and whoever posted this travesty here without correcting it, need to be schooled.

Harrison Ford is not "Diane Keaton's co-star," or anyone else's, nor will he ever be. He is the most popular actor in the history of the medium.

Hello, Mr. Ford. So nice of you to drop in.

Now why is her age pertinent to the story?

It's common practice, i.e., a convention, to put the age after a name (esp. a celebrity) in news articles, and has been for as long as I can remember. What's wrong with knowing someone's age? Are we still in the era when women lied about their ages? I hope we have gotten past that with the second wave of feminism.

At her age, a concussion should mean a week on the bench, before she subs for any NFL quarterbacks.
