Sarah Jessica Parker And Matthew Broderick's TWINS: The First Photo

NEW YORK — Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are sharing the first photo of their twin daughters.

The baby girls _ Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick _ were born last Monday at an Ohio hospital to a surrogate mother.

The photo, taken Monday in New York, shows a happy family: Parker and Broderick are smiling, each holding a twin. Their 6-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, stands in between mom and dad, gazing down at one of his little sisters.

This is a beautiful picture! Tiny women like Parker have a hard time with miscarriages and carrying a child when you start getting older. It is wonderful that they can have the family they dreamed of. Lucky little girls to have such loving parents. Congrads.

It's called having data. About nine months ago (or maybe longer?) it was all over the rags how their marriage was falling apart and Matthew Broderick went outside the marriage. If this wasn't true, there would no doubt have been lawsuits as the article was very specific. You can't help but pause at the timing of the twins births along with Matthew Broderick painful grins and pause. You call it cynical, I call it having eyes.

And btw, the reason that the rags don't get sued more often is that there is usually about 40% of truth in their bigger stories. See John Edwards, etc.

Yes, I would put on makeup myself and do my own hair. My point is, if you're trying to look real, like this is a candid day in the life sorta thing, than look the part. A day in the life of most new mothers is not having $1000 a day hair & makup people at your beck&call.

I can understand needing an egg donor at age forty. Some women have trouble conceiving. However, unless you have had a hysterectomy or have medical problems that make pregnancy dangerous there is no medical reason for having someone else carry your child. I certainly don't know SJP's situation, but I wonder.

Uh..your comment makes no sense at all. Pregnancy and childbirth in general, are dangerous and even more so after the age of 40. So it is quite likely that medical reasons weighed in this couple's decision to use a surrogate. Does it really matter anyway? Why do you care?
