The 401(k) retirement plan for New York Times Co. employees, including workers at The Boston Globe and Worcester Telegram and Gazette, suffered $154 million in investment losses in 2008, according to a regulatory filing.

The Sunday New York Times now costs $6 in California, according to the copy in my local library. Something is wrong with the company's business model. It is printed only a few miles away. Why is it so expensive?

Maybe now the NYT will start getting real with the Obama plans! The more their own retirement disappears, the better grasp on reality they will have--perhaps!
