Sanford Has A Book Deal?

The latest chapter in Gov. Mark Sanford's sordid story: a book deal! His publisher told CNN Wednesday that the governor had been planning a book outlining his 'policy beliefs.' Of course, this was before Sanford admitted to an affair with an Argentinian mistress, "crossing the line" with multiple other women outside his marriage, and his belief that he was caught up in a "love story" that was not only "forbidden" but "tragic."

According to the publisher it was to be "a manifesto about fiscal conservatism -- why the government needs to spend less and fix the deficit ASAP." The publisher wouldn't say whether the book was still on the way, but more details should be forthcoming this week.

Was the publisher a Murdock shill? That's one way Murdock pays off politicians. Publish their books, buy thousands of them, then recycle them. Money laundering. It's not all those hillbillies shelling out $25.95 for Newt's, Rush's, Beck's, Billo's or any of Murdock's other fief's.

It's probably too much for the gutless pulp publishers of NYC. Mark was unfaithful to his wife. He was unfaithful to the people S.C. BUT, then the dirty rat was unfaithful to his MISTRESS, Maria! Even with NYC publishers and the SC public a man can go too far. Is nothing sacred?

I wonder if he has chosen who will "play" him in the movie? Meghan McCain is a step ahead of him, already choosing the "star" who will play her part! What the HELL do these publishers think, that we are all completely in awe of these people? I would not buy either book, neither person is worth wasting money on. Do their publishers not know that unemployment is very high among the general public? They must be breathing the rarified air that these "celebrities" breathe.

On the other hand ... am I the only one who thinks this man is mentally ill? Have you heard him rambling of late. Sounds almost like "free association." Was there no one close to him to intervene when he started exhibiting distinct signs of "Horn-Dog-Republican-in-Power-Disease"? You might know it by it's popular nickname, "Newt-Itis".
