Barbecue

This chicken BBQ Indian style recipe is great mainly because of all the herbs and spices used.
See photos here.

Ingredients:

8 chicken thighs/legs

Marinade:
1 clove of crushed garlic
1/4 cup of crushed ginger
crushed large onion
a lot of red/green hot chili peppers
2 cups of plain yougurt
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 teaspoons paprika
5 tbsp Tandoori masala
3 teaspoons madras curry
optional: 2 tsp MSG and dash of parsely
5 tsp salt (vary to taste)

Mix all ingredients for marinade. Marinade chicken for 8 to 24 hours (I only do 8)
Grill or bake (as you would bake/grill regular chicken thighs).

It's good!

This is very close to a traditional Tandoori recipe I make.

I would say only marinate 6 to 8 hours with those ingredients. 24 hours with all of that lemon juice, yogurt, spices, and chilies will start to break down the meat too much and you'll wind up with the thighs and legs falling apart on the grill.

Also, if you want more of a traditional vibe, take the skin off the chicken before marinating. It will prevent fat flareups on the grill and is healthier to boot.

Loved the Indian style taste. Your recipe is easy and great to marinate, or give flavor to grilled veggies.
