You can't prevent kids from looking in a mirror when in public and in a store or passing one. The mirror ban was for the house.

Veiling the kids was horrible. If Jackson wanted no attention on the kids when they went out in public, those veils were guaranteed to get it. For someone who complained about not having a normal childhood, Jackson certainly made sure his kids didn't either. In all the articles about Jackson and his kids, there's never any mention of any of the kids' friends and it appears they didn't have any either.

I am white, but I am sick to death of "WHITE" people who think they knew everything about Michael!! So many of the stories and accusations are a result of BLATANT RACISM!! Plain and simple. Surveys have shown that 90% of whites believed Michael was guilty, while most AA believed different. I guess I was among the 10% of whites. Everyone of those pedophilia accusations WERE FALSE!! Let's not forget he was acquitted. One of the kids, now an adult has come forward in the past week and admitted his parents made him accuse Michael. He said Michael NEVER touched him. period.

He was acquitted, but even jurors thought he was guilty - they just didn't feel there was enough evidence to convict.

The only racism, in the scenario you describe is among the AA's who didn't believe he could be guilty because of his race.

The accusations WERE NOT FALSE. As a matter of fact, Jackson paid someone over 20 million dollars to keep quiet.

That's a lot of bull. Most AA's believed OJ was innocent too. Taraborrelli is a reputablwe writer and does his homewok very well. Was this kid the one Michael paid $20,000,000 too? That family wasn't the only one paid off to keep quiet over the years either.

I think what personally stood out to me most of all; was your tender nature. Envy in other people mistook that for weakness, when in reality it is strength. The force of who you were was so strong. Many people wish to have that, but could never achieve it.
We are all afforded different opportunities in life. Instead of being envious, they should have rejoiced with you, in your success and life

oh good grief, every time I come to this page, the Jackson stories are more ridiculous. We don't have a clue what's true, and never will. This guy wants to sell books, if he didn't say crazy things no one would buy the book. Huffpo entertainment page is a guily pleasure, I certainly don't believe a lot of what I read, but these Jackson stories are absurd, and they contradict each other constantly. Those kids are going to need therapy, and continuity in what is left of their childhoods.

The fact that he willed the children to two extremely elderly women who will not be able to care for them till they are grown is also disturbing.

i hope the courts do the right thing and find a stable caregiver for these kids (keeping them all together) with liberal visitation (or even live-in) rights for their grandmother. They need someone now whom they can count on to be there for them. The need to learn to play with other children. They need to learn that they look just fine and do not need to cover up their faces. They need to learn that most things and people in life are not disposable and that we do live within communities and families of other people with whom we interact.

It is going to be a long road ahead of these children. I hope they will find some reality and stability in their lives.

Their long-time nanny Grace should have joint custody, along side with his mother, Katherine. Given Grace's long history with the family and MJ"s children.

Lastly, I hope the public and media will never mock his children the way they did with him.
