In 1997, Enron set about to promote an international treaty to impose
cuts in CO2 emissions while allowing emission rights trading. Such an agreement would produce a gigantic windfall for Enron because
it would boost the usage of natural gas at the expense of coal and it would help Enron’s growing commodity trading business.

As the push for a treaty gained more support around the world, Enron CEO Ken Lay and other business
leaders wrote to President Bill Clinton on September 1, 1998, asking him to create a bipartisan blue ribbon
commission that would essentially shut off the scientific debate on global warming and discredit those scientists
who opposed the treaty and did not support the global warming theory.

Exxon Mobile Funded latest climate bill(interesting)!!

Industries and individual companies with a stake in the landmark House climate and energy bill poured money into lobbying early this year

Exxon Mobil Corp. spent the most within that group, paying $9.3 million on lobbying the first quarter of this year.
Last year the company spent $29 million, its highest level ever.

Carbon and CO2 (carbon dioxide) are fundamental for all life on Earth. CO2 is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic gas.

The Indian subcontinent is a disaster area. The population of India is more than three times that of South America, larger than North America's, larger than Europe's, larger than Africa's. Recently, Indian business leaders went on The Daily Show and Charlie Rose bragging about how their 400 million people living in abject poverty and misery was good for their economy.

While China is struggling to control their population growth, and to comes to terms with their pollution, India is thinking almost exclusively about how they can become grab more of the world's riches, and to hell with the biosphere.

They are not a disaster waiting to happen, they are already a disaster area.

I agree. And they steal American jobs too.
They have enough manpower...they can take care of themselves...

"Climate Change" really is. Natural cycles. Nothing more, nothing less.
I have point out the fact that more and more scientists are coming out and telling you that it is a scam.
That there is no real science in it. It's Scaryence.." Doom and gloom. So they came up with a plan.

What if the people ask for proof? "Just tell them that all the Scientist agree that it is real, and they are smarter then
them, so they need just accept it. Any Scientists that say it's not real are just kooks, or bought off by big oil."

"They have succeeded to a certain degree. Many people
have just become Sheeple that accept the Scaryence as real science.

More and more people are actually starting to listen to the FACTS and deciding that it makes no sense whatsoever.
They are starting to question it. Well, they can't have THAT. Why? Because they can't win an intelligent fact and science based argument.
They can not win because there is NO real Science in it. There are no PROVABLE facts to back up what they say.

Al Gore has been telling us we only have ten years left for about 15 years.
All the predictions are completely wrong, every time the give them. More frequent and severe storms.
Well, the last two years? Warmer and dryer winters. Well, this year? Fake pictures, fake facts

Why do you think they SAY there is a scientific consensus Just accept it?

Your posts are always ridiculous and show how little you really know ( or don't know ) about anything. You must have a lot of money invested in oil. Yes, carbon dioxide is a natural gas, but it is supposed to be in a certain proportion with the other gases including oxygen. When a person has to be on a ventilator to help with their breathing, they are not just receiving oxygen into their lungs, the vent is also removing carbon dioxide out of the persons system with a forced expiration. Getting too much CO2 in your body is just as dangerous as not getting enough oxygen. The argument that something is OK just because it is already present in nature is just plain stupid. Also, global warming doesn't mean that everyones weather will always be warmer. What it means is the oceans will be warmer (due to less ice due to global warming) and this will change weather patterns so places that usually get plenty of rain will get less, places will get snow that used to not get it, places that want snow, won' t get as much. There will be lots of places with too much rain and lots of places with droughts. There is scientific proof, but you only believe the garbage you spew.

Last time I checked, our atmosphere consists of 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen and 1% Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Carbon Minoxide and other trace gases.

So if you begin to create more of the trace gases, what do you think happens?

This kind of response from India is not surprising, but their perspective will change over time, and fairly quickly, if and when the United States finally assumes a meaningful place in the worldwide effort to combat human induced climate change. The primary motivation for India will not be for altruistic reasons; rather, they will change their perspective because of the need to compete with the U. S. and the other major economies in the "green" wars about to occur, globally. I'm talking about green "economic wars". To grow their economy at scale, they will have to compete in the new technologies and industries about to explode around the globe, an explosion certainly to occur, once the American economy is on track.

It will be the market, of all things, that will bring them around. This is already happening with China, a nation that clearly has a long way to go but which has made more green progress than most realize. Once the U. S. gets to speed in these fields, the rest of the world's major economies will follow, or be left behind. They will have no choice.

The average person has been misled and is confused about what the current Global Warming debate is about, greenhouse gases. None of which has anything to do
with air pollution. People are confusing Smog, Carbon Monoxide (CO) and the pollutants in
car exhaust with the life supporting, essential trace gas in our atmosphere, Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

Your post is confusing. No one says CO2 is not essential. The contention is too much of it is warming the atmosphere.

How much CO2 is too much and who are you to make such an outrageous claim?

By the standards of recent geologic history, the current levels of CO2 are an order of magnitude too low in comparison with the broader natural history of the Phanaerozoic Era.

If they want to lift their people out of poverty, they need to start promoting birth control. They have 1.2 billion people with more coming. A catastrophe in waiting.

Better look up Replacement Fertility Rate...currently, for most of the world it's under 2.1 which means that we are not replacing ourselves with a new generation. Do a bit of research..
