McCain And Palin Personally Approved Email Hunt For Leaks

John McCain and Sarah Palin both personally approved an intensive internal search of the emails of top campaign staffers in order to determine who had been leaking damaging information about Palin to reporters, McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt just told me in an interview.

"John McCain and Sarah Palin were both informed that we were doing this in an attempt to catch the person," Schmidt told me, referring to his decision to undertake the email search, which has been the topic of fierce controversy since it was revealed yesterday.

Just heard Palin was resigning from gov. job in july..Probably thinks she needs time to run for president.. Just what americans want someone who cries and quits her job as gov. because things dont go her way to be our president. Bet we havent heard the last of her as she thinks she is entitled

In the newest episode of the "Thrilla from Wasilla," Sarah Palin shocks the world by actually quitting her Alaska governorship. As she rambles through an incoherent speech, given in the afternoon of a holiday weekend so no one will even notice, (wink, wink) she desperately tries to make cogent sense of how great it is for Alaska that she is quitting. Uh, yeah.

But in her quest for the brass ring, the future presidential hopeful forgets that despite her base, no governor in history has ever won the presidency when they've chosen to quit their office after two years.

That won't stop Palin, however. Millions of distraught Americans will pay dearly for just a glimpse of her as she goes on a speaking/book tour. In addition, the media continues the fight to woo Palin. Fox News appears in the lead, offering a seven figure contract to Palin as Sean Hannity drools all over his notes while considering the possibilities.

Another fine example of how truth is stranger than fiction.

Even if she wanted to it would never happen. While HP, Politico and others rail on what a media wh o r e she is, when push comes to shove they'll post every item they can on her. This post is a classic case - when was this investigation - last fall? Isn't it July now?

Sarah was vetted...they knew she was..'limited"...in experience. They knew the media would go crazy if Sarah really got to open her mouth....that's why THEY leaked the personal crap about who's baby...and the teen pregnancy...so they could control the media coverage on Sarah.
They did their best to limit the very words she would speak. And they blamed it on the media.
