Rachel Maddow: Gone Fishin'!

Wondering where Rachel Maddow's been all week?

While Executive Producer Bill Wolff's wife Alison Stewart has filled in, Rachel's been on vacation fishing in Massachusetts.

Cape Cod's Nelson's Bait and Tackle shop reported that Rachel joined them for a trip on the fishing boat the Beth Ann last weekend, and Thursday morning she tweeted a photo with a prize catch (see below for full version).

"Have caught all fish in sea. Sorry! Ready to think politics again soon," she wrote.

Sadly she got lucky starting her vacation a lil early due to the nighttime MJ death coverage on June 25.

She harps obessively on hypocritical conservatives too much and needs to tone down that coverage of it is my one main pet peeve about her!! Overall this guy's tweet sums it up about my girl:

This is last week's story. It was posted then on another web site. She was supposed to return today and didn't according to her web site. I wonder if MSNBC if going to do another Jackson marathon on Tuesday and she won't return until Wednesday. I personally think there is more than meets the eye here. Let's just see if MSNBC floods the airwaves with Jackson stuff again.

In the meantime, I have certainly missed Rachel. I can hardly wait to hear her take and those of her great guests on the news that has happened while the MSM has been consumed with Jackson. Alison is OK but she's a long shot from RM.
